本博客被“单位”评为“劳模”

“单位”（http://www.danwei.org/，需翻墙）是由Jeremy Goldkorn（金玉米）和Joel Martinsen等居住在中国的外国人创办的一个著名“桥梁博客”，它连接的是中国与中国之外的世界。每天，“单位”的编辑们都会将从中文世界得到的信息翻译成英文，介绍给阅读中文有困难的人。由于中国与日俱增的重要性和影响力（当然，还有其复杂性），也由于“单位”所呈现内容的上乘品质，“单位”在外媒记者和所有希望了解中国的外国人中具备极大的影响力。

我是“单位”的订阅读者，因为我希望了解“中国通”所呈现出的中国是怎样的图景。而且，“单位”所介绍的关于中国的信息有不少竟是我所不知道的，“单位”编辑对中国的了解程度和信息获取能力可见一斑。

本博客的《不要再来伤害我——那些“伤害中国人民感情”的国家》曾经被“单位”推荐，并引发了英文世界的关注。两天前，本博客又光荣获选“2010年度劳模博客”之一。“单位”用“信息来源可靠、论证严谨”来评价本博客，并称之为“必须订阅的博客”，实在令人受宠若惊。感谢“单位”所授予的荣誉称号，你们才是促进中国与世界交流的真正劳模。

据说，“劳模是工人阶级的优秀代表，是民族的精英、国家的栋梁、社会的中坚、人民的楷模，劳模是时代的永远领跑者。”既然有了此等沉甸甸的荣誉称号加身，今后的日子里只能在光荣奉献的大道上继续狂奔啦。

Fang Kecheng (方可成), a graduate student in journalism at PKU, keeps a blog with a focus on Chinese media and social issues.

Fang started his blog on Ycool in 2006 and moved to a standalone server on October 4, 2008. A redesign earlier this month (compare to the earlier version). The new layout makes the blog’s top-level categories prominent: Observations on China, Civil Society, Media, life, Film, music, and books, and Travel.

From the subject matter alone, it’s easy to see why Fang’s blog appeals to us at Danwei. His well-sourced, carefully-argued posts make it a required RSS subscription.
